We’re looking for help!
We want to hold an annual Wigan Literature Festival. The title may sound fancy, but it’s basically about getting #writers and #readers together.
Writers will get an opportunity to read their work aloud to readers and promote their creative works.
Readers will get the opportunity to find new, local voices in the literature world.
Literature can be of any form: poetry, fiction, non-fiction, etc.
What we’re looking for is:
- People to help organise the event – there’s a saying many hands make light work – and it’s true.
- A suitable venue. Probably close to Wigan town centre.

Please note: Any help given would be greatly appreciated, but given on a voluntary basis. We are not currently in a position to pay anyone for their time.
