Antony Simpson, Author, wanted to host a small event at Wigan Library for readers and writers.
After discovering that there hasn’t been a literature festival in Wigan for over a decade, he decided to recruit some friends and call this event ‘Wigan Literature Festival.’
The idea is to host a small event within Wigan Library on Saturday 26th October 2024, 10:00-13:00. There will be a space for writers/authors to read excerpts of their work, a space for volunteers to read to children/children’s activities and space for info stalls.
Wigan Crime Author Paul Finch is attending the event and other local authors have been approached.
We have approached the library and are just waiting confirmation of the date/time.
